I think a striker with 1-punch/kick KO power (too bad Kaitlin Young’s grappling is so weak) would be very dangerous for Ronda, but I don’t see many girls with that capability right now. Strikers who depend on wearing their opponent down with rapid fire strikes are going to eventually get taken down and submitted.

As a Kaufman fan I hate to say it but Rousey was undeniably on another level. But I don’t think it will be long before someone figures out the riddle of Ronda Rousey. Once someone can take the ground game out of her equation and can strike like Kaufman they will own the belt!

I think a lot of people missed something Rousey said in one of her 10,000 videos, she was talking about her expertise in talking and how no one could effectively debate her, her comment was something like « there’s no way these girls who get punched in the face for a living can debate me » .. I wonder how all the women fighters feel about that comment?

Sarah already said she knows what its like to be in an armbar and doesnt intend to be in another one again. Plus she knows she is going up against a good judo athlete so she’s definately been working on her ground game. If Ronda’s smart and I doubt she is I wouldnt go into the cage and underestimate Sarah.

In my opinion going into this fight with Sarah, Ronda’s head is so pumped up with arrogance and entitement she’ll be her own downfall and Sarah will win. The Ronda vs. Miesha fight was a very good match-up even if Ronda didnt deserve the title shot. That being said Sarah will win because Ronda faced a very good striker in Miesha but Miesha is not the stellar striker that Sarah is. She has never come up against a true Striker like the one she will face Saturday.

I agree 100%. Ronda is not a fighter. She is a good Judo athlete and she’s obviously good with armbars submissions, but thats its. Her striking is lame average at best. I cant see her trying to keep it off the ground against Sarah. Miesha Tate is an excellent figher, but Ronda got inside her head and played that to her advantage. When you look back at that fight its crystal clear that Miesha was winning the round, but ultimately Ronda won the fight and unfortunately the belt. I
