Jones was the one who changed his style and found more success, it had nothing to do with machida changing his game up. Jones asked for advice, implement the advice and destroyed machida right after.

To address my own rhetorical questions from above, I’ll have to point out that everyone has to invent a public personality, whether with family/friends or on the job. Does this mean we are not genuine? No, I don’t think so.
