This was a non title fight that has nothing to do with tournaments or a bracket. They just find any opponent who was a name but is now bad and give them the fight.

How do they determine the bracket? Random? If it is seeded than it makes sense that Chandler faced a weaker opponent.

Just one more thing- The whole tournament thing is a fricking cop out in my opinion. Just like this last fight – make it a non title fight . Its my opinion that Bellator does not want the former Champ to fight the current champ – One because they know what will happen – Chandler loses and Alvarez fights in another organization. But WE ALL want to see it – yet there are those that are for REAL AND WANT TO FIGHT AND THERE ARE THOSE THAT HIDE BEHIND AN IDEAL = .again, non title bout – lets go !

gono was the only fighter to accept the proposed match. everyone else said no. bellator took a huge gamble with this fight. good for them.

IMO they should have make Chandler-Aoki and given Alvarez Gono.
